Elbow Tour 2009 - Closing Night

March 14th 2009 - Wembley Arena

Impact were approached by Highlight Pyrotechnics to provide and operate confetti blowers and streamer cannons during Elbows biggest track to date "one day like this" In total 16 single shot cannons were used, 6 continuous Co2 confetti blowers and over 60kg of confetti and streamers in this epic moment.

Duncan Bannatyne's 60th Birthday Celebrations

February 7th 2009 - Darlington

Working with other production and event management companies we supplied the lighting, staging & special effects along with logistics and labour for Mr Bannatyne's exclusive 60th birthday celebrations.

Entertainment included Chesney Hawkes & Beverly Knight.

Equipment supplied included GLP Impression LED moving head wash, Martin Mac500's & 600's, LED Par56, Skyrose searchlights, flambeau torches, Le Maitre confetti cannons, haze, truss systems and stage decking.

Mrs Loud inc special guest Bonnie Tyler - Album Launch

November 17th 2008 - City Hall, Newcastle

Lorraine Crosby contacted us only a few days before the event with some ideas for effects during her album launch performance at the famous city hall in newcastle. We supplied and fired various effects from 8m mines, 3 second gerbs, flashes and concussion during various choreographed points in the show. We also fired an 8 cannon confetti hit during a special guest appearance of bonnie tyler singing her hit "total eclipse of the heart" It was a high octane and truly spine tingling concert!

Gateshead Thunder - League Champions 2008

August 21st 2008 - Kingston Park, Newcastle

We were approached by Gateshead thunder to come up with a finale for the lifting of the national rugby league championship cup. This was to be broadcast live on sky sports 3. When liasing with the hosting venue we were informed of a no pyrotechnics policy. Our solution was immediately available in the form of a multiple Aerotechnic cannon chase, complete with Gold & Purple coloured confetti and streamers to complement the teams colours.

Sunday For Sammy 2008

February 10th 2008 - City Hall, Newcastle Upon Tyne

Working closely with DVD production, lighting and sound crews we created a spine tingling finale of silver and white flutter fetti at the close of the show. Due to the time restrictions in place and proximity to the camera and stage equipment pyrotechnics were out of the question. We deployed 4 Aerotechnic cannons to excellent effect!

St Cuthberts Society, Durham University - Durham

We are highly privileged to have St Cuths as an ongoing customer. And when we were approached by the president for ideas to close the all day concert, we agreed the client the best way forward was rooftop pyrotechnics from behind the main stage, A collaboration of outdoor pyrotechnics & Dmx flame heads was used to create an unforgettable spine tingling closing show.

We've had the pleasure of supplying St Cuths with various other rooftop fireworks displays between 2008 and 2009 and thank them for there continued support!

Music Means Life 2008

April 24th 2008 - Rainton Meadows Arena

Impact supplied and fired a giant silver and white flutter fetti hit upon the winners presentation using no less than 12 Le Maitre Aerotechnic cannons.

Girl Guiding UK Centenary Launch Celebrations

We supplied special effects and lighting design to bring the girl guiding UK Centenary celebrations to centre stage. The event was held during the day and into dusk posing a challenge for any lighting company. We used a mixture of traditional generic lighting along with moving heads and lots of haze to bring the show to it's spectacular finale.

Paddywhacks 1st Birthday

November 5th 2008 - Sunderland City Centre

Working on city centre rooftops posses many different challenges. We used carefully selected products to produce a spectacular show within the venues budget, all comprising of professional grade comets, mines and cakes. and just to finish it off a shamrock shaped confetti hit over the crowd using Aquafetti!

Gentoo Conference

May 14th 2008 - Rainton Meadows Arena

Working with other production companies our goal was to create a "wow" factor to coincide with the close of show video clips. We achieved this using compressed air confetti cannons filled with brand coloured confetti, 8m gold glitter mines & concussion.
